Hardman started playing the piano when she was seven years old, and music remains to be the core of her love of the arts.
She studied Acting at the University of Central Lancashire where she graduated with a BA(hons) in 2007.
During her training there she became interested in and had a particular flare for experimental and physical theatre. Here, Hardman realised that interdisciplinary praxis in a theatrical framework was how she could best create work. Being a singer-songwriter and grade eight pianist; Hardman always wanted to integrate her music into performance.
Hardman continues to be greatly inspired by experimental theatre and music, and has been professionally performing her own compositions and collaborations in the UK where she is based. She is also one of five members of Kahuna, her band; in which she is a vocalist and plays keys.
